… to men.

Therefore, they should shut the fuck up.

    I love these pictures.

But, but, but! Conception happens, and then, like, Jesus told me that it’s a CHILD!!!1 And, like, stuff! Oh and I get to decide what happens to the CHILD because I have sperm and stuff!! MEN’S RIGHTS!!!!!!

    ^
That is what I think of when I think of people (men) who oppose abortion. I guess that some of them could actually think they mean well (which is both sad and terrifying), but either way: no uterus, no opinion. Great post, as usual!

    ha ha! Thanks Rainbow.

WONT SOMEBODY THINK OF THE SPERMS?

what I find most interesting is the possession of a uterus hasnt seemed to give you a moral conscience or any common sense. It s just a uterus it means you have real responsibilites I dont think murdering innocent human beings is a good choice to take because you are a selfish uterus.

    BLAH BLAH BLAH.

This doesnt concern you because YOU HAVE NO UTERUS.

And I would like to point out to all the stupid prolife lurkers like robert – this post has nothing to do with whether abortion is right or wrong.

It is about whether men have any say in abortion being right or wrong, which they dont. LOL. like the post says: sucks to be you. Sorry!

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Can this be a greeting card campaign for anti-choice male supremecists?

Also: It’s pretty telling that Robert thinks we are selfish uteruses. As opposed to selfish people who have uteruses.

This also relates to the fact that Earth is overpopulated because dudes keep sticking their dicks into women, then seemingly wondering how this results in a baby. Like wtf!

But we’re all supposed to keep letting men stick their dicks into us, and have surgery or take dangerous hormones/chemicals or use dangerous/uncomfortable devices if we don’t want to have babies.

And sometimes that still doesn’t work, and sometimes men fuck/rape us without using these devices, and then a baby happens, so we have to undergo a surgical procedure that is painful and a lot like rape.

Hey, did you know that not wanting to have children or fearing pregnancy is considered a mental disorder?

    http://www.wikipedia.org/Tocophobia

It’s not like, you know. Pregnancy is painful, and possibly life-threatening, and we (by which I mean, women) know that, or anything.

Nope. Mental illness. So, fellow females, ladies, girls, etc (or simply — uteruses, as Robert helpfully summarized) — time to hurry up and get pregnant. There are no excuses any more. And if we don’t want to, we may be considered mentally ill.

Thanks, MEN(tal health industry), for yet another massive fail. Pregnancy as an abstract concept, indeed.

YES to “this post isnt about whether abortion os right or wrong” AND that WOMEN should be the only ones involved in this “debate” not men.

what if women could actually be honest with themselves and others when it came to abortion, no matter what their “views” on it? liberal women could say “look, i am not going to be a fucking baby machine for men” and conservative women could say “look, i am not going to pretend i am some sterile fuckhole for men” and then we could all sit around and talk about how selfish and abusive men are, how deluded they are about women, and how their fucked up ideas about PIV being “sex” are ruining our lives.

but NO. somehow the dialog has become completely UNFOCUSED on how any of this actually affects us. WOMEN. the ones this is all happening to. gee what a surprise.

“Can this be a greeting card campaign for anti-choice male supremecists?”

Miss Andrist, I think it should be!

“Mental illness. So, fellow females, ladies, girls, etc (or simply — uteruses, as Robert helpfully summarized) — time to hurry up and get pregnant. There are no excuses any more. And if we don’t want to, we may be considered mentally ill.

Yep. We all belong barefoot and in the kitchen. No two ways about it. How long before anybody else (read: non radfems) realizes that the mental health industry is dangerous to women? That it pathologizes a lot of things that are actually normal? I think that the medical industry in general pathologizes pregnancy, treating it like a disease… but on the other hand, they also treat it like a disease if you don’t want to be pregnant. Just another Catch-22 for women.

And what I find most interesting is that Robert’s post is absolute truth…if you replace every “uterus” with a “dick.”
