Let’s play the name game!

December 3, 2011

pick between 2 and 11 of your favorite girl-names, circa 1985 (or from whenever you were about 10 years old).  add one completely made-up name, a bizarre alternate spelling to a real name, or a name you read in a fantasy-book, preferably one that ends with -wyn.  put them together in a way that sounds complicated, then add to your real last name.  or heck, make up a new last name too.  congratulations,  you now have your new transwoman name.  now you try!!11!111

srsly, this *naming* shit is so offensive.  it actually angers me when i see it.  and it appears to be official: 99% of all persons currently answering to the name “dana” are actually MTF trans.  that is all.

The name tyrone, all by itself, is totally scary.

For bonus points the last name should be based on a cocktail, an iconic “glamorous” actress, or a porn star.

Brandee Caillean Marilynne Hennessey <double bonus!

Seriously tho folks- if you're going to change your name, select from names that were used at the time of your birth. 50 year olds named Kayden or Mykel or Brittanee stand out like sore thumbs.

yes, its just more made-up glamor shit, and nothing to do with what its really like to be female. getting stuck with some name that was picked for you by your parents and contextualized to time and place is NOT the same as what the trans do, which is an obvious fetish and more of the fantasy-dress-up game that makes them feel better. it makes me sick to imagine them picking out their new fake name and doodling it everywhere, like a teenage girl fantasizing about her new married name, or a little girl imagining what shes going to name her kids (or a stripper picking out a stage name). the “ick” factor with MTF trans “naming” is extreme.

I have recently discovered, just today in fact, that I am not transphobic after all, in spite of numerous claims on these here interwebs. I am absolutely genderphobic. I admit it without qualification. I embrace it and I confess it. Every time someone speaks against gender they are declared to be transphobic. I think this is a misnomer considering that they are addressing gender rolls and not trans politics. So it came to me that the simplest way to clear up the confusion is to admit to what I actually fear. The social imposition of gender norms on otherwise perfectly healthy human children.
Genderphobic! That is my phobia. Well, that and spiders. I have some problems there too.

haha! you are a “bronwyn” too! its a great fake name.

re transphobia, i think “genderphobia” sounds pretty good. the funny thing to me is that as oppressed people everywhere are trying desperately to maintain their own histories and cultures, they are being forced to assimilate into the culture of the colonizers and to give up their own identities. this is the history and the definition of “colonization” by the dominant class. women are acting like oppressed people, and resisting the way oppressed people resist, when we demand our own spaces and our own history, and the right to define ourselves and to identify with people like ourselves, ie. other women. what are the MTF trans acting like, when they DONT want their own history and culture, (they want ours) when they DONT want their own spaces, (they want ours) they DONT want to identify with other people who are like them (ie. as TRANS, identifying with OTHER TRANS). its fucking bizarre, all of it. and they have the unmitigated gall to claim oppressed status. well, that word means something doesnt it? and it doenst mean what they think it means. they dont even PRETEND (ACT) like they know what it means. they know what they want, and thats to colonize women. it really couldnt be more obvious.

i might start referring to ALL MTF trans as “bronwyn jennifer” from now on. and you all will know what i mean. 🙂

It’s because of their “second puberty” doncha know? And many of them count their ages from this “second puberty”. Seems rather infantile to me. And being a 50yo dude, claiming to be “4”, is just downright pervy/creepy. That is the sort of shit pedophiles pull, so is it any wonder that the population at large lump the M2Ts into the same category?

yes it is extremely bothersome that grown men believe they are “identifying” with underage girls. julia serano believed that he “identified” with girl children when he imagined the way girl children masturbate, then claimed he masturbated the same way. BARF. this was used by him as proof that he was really a girl. that one was debunked at “debunking serano.” pervy fucking perversons.
