    Ha ha ha! Well done.

Funfems need to get it through their thick skulls what decentering cisnormativity really means.

There are people who care nothing about other peoples problems while expecting everyone to care intensely about their problems. Sometimes we think of them as self absorbed, or narcissistic, and don’t concern ourselves overmuch because they are not actively harming anyone. Malignant narcissism is different. I think that is what we see so often in the Trans activists. I think it important that we recognize what we are seeing happening to women who fall prey to these predators. Particularly in the feminist community.

“Malignant narcissism is a deeply perverted self-love. A malignant narcissist doesn’t just revere himself; he demands others revere him as well. If the victim of the narcissist fails to revere him, he/she will invariably be subjected to emotional, mental or even physical abuse.”

thanks for that TBW. there is def a predatory feel to all of this as well as an abusive element and you have just nailed what that is. thanks. i hope this is helpful to someone….

That was helpful TBW and extremely accurate, thank you. Even their entitlement is entitled to absorb the entitlements of everyone around them. It’s the “I love (or hate) this so you must too” routine.

I started to write a comment but it was so long I decided to make it a blog entry. I figured it’d pop up in the trackbacks but it hasn’t and I don’t know how it works! So here it is, because I know you’re dying of curiosity! http://myveryprivatemap.blogspot.com/2012/03/this-is-not-post-about-trans-but-i.html

Notice that Serano calls out transwomen NOT for their indifference to women’s reproductive rights, but for their failure to steer the Blunt amendment fight toward trans health issues.

Transwomen like Serano demand that women fight transwomen’s battles, but they can’t be arsed to fight for women’s issues that do not directly affect them.

bad ally! bad! or thats what the fun fems should be saying to trans, who are horrible feminist allies. in reality, we are expected to be allies to trans, and definitely not the other way around.

    Nice ranty post, Lush.

    Serano’s tweet:
Yes, but it’s not just trans bodies. It also includes infertile women, pre-menstrual and post-menopausal women.

First of all he uses the phrase “trans bodies” in a vain attempt to look like he is giving some sort of shit about F2Ts, most of whom remain fertile as females (or not proven infertile), however, he is really talking only about M2Ts who cannot be impregnated, but who wear dresses pretending to be laydees. Potential pregnancy is not a reality for the male born.

Then he has the nerve to include other FABs in that list, like he is pretend-caring about our precious feelings on the matter. Most post-menopausal women, feminists anyway, do still care about reproductive issues for women – most spent many decades menstruating and potentially (or actually) being impregnanted, either voluntarily or involuntarily. Most infertile women really don’t know they are infertile for a while, and usually only when they try to get pregnant. Up until that point, they too potentially have to worry about unwanted pregnancies if they are sexually active with a male. As for the “pre-menstrual”, LOL, they are called GIRLS, and most won’t know the full biological reality of being female until not long before they menstruate.

Serano is just another male who is telling females to stfu about things he isn’t interested in. When really, it is Serano who should stfu about women’s issues. This is the problem, having males of any kind, involved in feminism.
